Zgornja Vas lies underneath the overhanging rock of Iglica, mostly renowned by the climbing area "Stara Bela". This area belongs to the top quality climbing areas in Slovenia.

There are 29 directions available. Climbing in the climbing area from early spring to late autumn, throughout the day (only in the middle of the day is part of the wall in the sun).

Bohinjska Bela offers plenty of challenging and less demanding marked trails.

Cycling trails

Grumble Bear Trail will take you into times past, when a real bear once walked into the village of Bohinjska Bela, coming to be known as Grumble Bear.

In July, the fair of St. Marjeta takes place in the village core, offering cottage industry and a cultural-entertaining evening (organised by the tourist and cultural association). 

In February, the tourist association organises an expedition and skiing tour to mount Galetovec.

The traditional walk goes on every year on May 1.

The traditional meeting of trekkers and walk upon mount Babji zob goes on in Kupljenik within month of May.

In July, the voluntary fire-fighter's association organises a PUBLIC FIREFIGHTER FESTIVITY with national music and a raffle.
